In the Covid-19 outbreak, the prevalence of monkeypox has increased to become India's biggest concern.
Since this time, the country in question has reported 10 cases of monkeypox and one fatality.
After learning about these cases, the department of health for Uttarakhand has given all of the Hakim Distrik and Kepala Petugas Medis notice on the virus's illness.
However, the berbukit nation in question has not yet reported a single case of monkeypox as of this writing.
1. The health department has been instructed to quickly track down the instances. Every incidence of monkeypox should be treated as an outbreak, and any suspected cases should be reported right away to the District Surveillance Units or State Surveillance Units (SSUs). Sampling, tracing, and testing should then be conducted when a confirmed case has been found.
2. Implementation of the core surveillance strategy, which includes hospital-based surveillance, targeted surveillance, and Measles surveillance that can be achieved through Immunization Division monitoring and NACO-identified targeted intervention locations for MSM and FSW population
3. Based on the identified routes of transmission, an effective control and prevention strategy has been directed. This strategy includes isolating cases to stop further transmission, providing the best clinical care, identifying and managing contacts, protecting frontline health workers, and isolating cases to prevent further transmission.
4. Some of the actions outlined to be implemented as part of the preventive strategies include lab diagnosis, contact tracing, capacity development, awareness generation about safe sex practices, self-reporting of symptoms, and preventative measures against monkeypox.
5. The state has also been ordered to take the required steps for the disease's management and prevention.

India announced the first monkeypox-related fatality on July 30. Having previously tested positive for monkeypox in the United Arab Emirates, a 22-year-old male traveled to India on July 22 and was brought to a hospital on July 27.
In addition to Uttarakhand, the national capital Delhi ordered three private hospitals to build at least 10 isolation rooms for the afflicted people, 5 of which would be used to handle suspected cases of monkeypox and 5 for proven cases. Kerala and Karnataka also have regulations for identifying and treating unusual diseases.
